Helena Ávila nasceu na ilha do Pico, Açores em 1986. Em 2008 completou a Licenciatura em Teatro e Educação, na ESE de Coimbra. Da sua formação extra-curricular destaca o workshop com a companhia Odin Teatret, em 2008 e o workshop com Miguel Seabra em 2011. Desde 2009 entrou em 15 projectos teatrais, como actriz. Tais como musicais com Fernando Gomes, teatro de rua com o Joana Teatro, teatro escolar com a Baal 17 e CDV - Teatro do Noroeste. Também já participou em séries televisivas com a Plural.
Helena Ávila was born in Pico Açores, 1986. On 2008 she completed her master degree in Teatro e Educação. Later she continued her acting training with several workshops: one with the Odin Teatret, 2008 and Acting, Singing and Dancing, in Plural Castings Portugal, 2011.
She began as a drama teacher in 2008. As an actress she performed in fifteen projects since 2009, such as musicals, street performances, theatre for schools, classic theatre and TV shows.
