Ricardo Machado tirou o curso de Desenho e Pintura no Ar.Co. Participa em exposições desde 2005, de onde se destacam a apresentação do projecto "Azorean Scrimshaw" em Paris (Galerie Carré d’artistes, 2014) e em Nova Iorque (Gallery Rising Artist | Artexpo, 2013). É pioneiro a recriar a técnica do scrimshaw dentro do campo das Artes Plásticas. Foi selecionado finalista no concurso internacional "FLORENCE SHANGHAI PRIZE 2013", e selecionado na mostra LABJOVEM 3ª e 4ª Edição.
Ricardo Machado studied at Ar.Co Arts Centre (Lisbon, Portugal). He participates in exhibitions since 2005, amongst his relevant shows we can call attention to the "Azorean Scrimshaw" project presented at the Gallery Carré d’artistes Paris (France) and Artexpo New York 2013 (U.S.A.). He is pioneer in recreating the scrimshaw in the field of plastic arts. Finalist in the international competition "FLORENCE SHANGHAI PRIZE", "See | Me Launch Competion" and selected to join the displays "LABJOVEM".
